[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As a story teller and wordsmith, jewellery design has become another language for Tanya Caldwell as she translates the individual stories of her clients into uniquely personal fine jewellery.

As a life-long lover of beauty, style and meaning, her jewel journey began in earnest with an eight-year partnership with SCARAB Jewellery Design Studio. Throwing caution to the wind,  she invested her publishing pension in opening a Johannesburg SCARAB studio in partnership with established Cape Town designer, Janine Davidson.

Initially the idea was to sell SCARAB designs to a Johannesburg audience, but it quickly became apparent that this dynamic audience had their own stories to tell. Tanya began translating these into personalized fine jewellery pieces, executed by the SCARAB workshop.

In July of 2015 she opened her own design space in Hyde Park Corner, where she  currently engages her clients, by appointment.
